Abstract

Expanded availability of acoustic software makes it easier for more people to complete acoustic research of choral singing. This article discusses strategies for planning and recording acoustic research by presenting an overview of the scientific method and then illustrating its steps with reference to examples of published acoustic studies that examine specific aspects of choral singing and choral performance.
